Healing Touch
May we console those who are exhausted,
inhibited or uncertain.
Help us to increase our capacity
to listen and respond to one another.
May we speak words of encouragement,
recognition and affirmation.
Give us the grace to meet the lonely, neglected,
ill, and misunderstood with patience,
understanding and acceptance.
May we be sources of strength,
hope and inspiration for one another.
Give us the strength to express our concern and grief.
May we embrace every chance to help, to heal-
touching not only individual persons
but also a wounded world.
